Tina Turner's album "Break Every Rule" was released in 1986 by Capitol Records and quickly became a number one hit. The album sold over 12 million copies worldwide and is one of the best-selling albums of the 1980s. Her legendary performance during the subsequent tour in Rio de Janeiro, in front of more than 180,000 spectators, even earned her an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. Forty years later, "Simply the Best—Die Tina Turner Story" pays tribute to the unique life's work of one of the most important artists in music history and has already thrilled hundreds of thousands of visitors. Most recently, the successful production caused quite a stir during a lengthy legal battle over the likeness of its lead actress and world's best Turner lookalike, Dorothea "Coco" Fletcher, and gained international prominence and recognition through the final ruling. “Simply the Best—Die Tina Turner Story” portrays the life of this exceptional artist with plenty of live music and impressive scenes, taking the audience on a journey through five decades of music history: from early successes, the failure of a great love, and finally, after the separation, Tina's sensational solo career to the film score of “James Bond 007—GoldenEye” in the mid-90s. Fletcher was inspired by the exceptional artist, managing to perfectly imitate her idol. Her performance is so strikingly close to the original, both visually and vocally, that she endured a legal dispute, because she looked too much like Turner. With her distinctive vocal timbre and high-energy show, Fletcher brings the "Queen of Rock" back to the stage and thrills audiences together with the outstanding ensemble of live band, singers, and dancers.
