Christian Mengelt — 30 Years of Form and Color

Rappaz Museum
Until Februar

The path of Christian Mengelt’s image design today follows his starting point in the 1960s—the encounter with Abstract Expressionism on the one hand and Concrete Art on the other. Mengelt understands the supposed contrast between abstract and concrete in art creatively as mutually complementary, invigorating phenomena of artistic design—from abstraction and reduction of form and color to an exciting, balanced composition.
