50-Year Anniversary of MUKS
Fifty years ago, the MUKS (Museum Kultur & Spiel Riehen) opened its doors under the name "Spielzeugmuseum und Dorfmuseum Riehen” (Toy Museum and Village Museum Riehen). This deserves to be celebrated, and they are inviting the public to a big birthday party with everything that goes with it—workshops, short tours, music, food, games, celebratory speeches, relaxing, and of course, a giant birthday cake. Also, Swiss author Dominik Muheim will explain what MUKS actually means. And you can visit their new exhibition "Verrückt: Visionen von gestern” (Crazy: Visions of Yesterday), which opens the day before. Come to the MUKS in Riehen to enjoy two crazy, playful, and happy-festive days!
Entrance is free.
