To mark his 50th birthday, saxophonist Alex Hendriksen invites you to a special concert at Museum Tinguely: Using the saxophone and a variety of other instruments, as well as electronic devices, radio signals, and field recordings, he creates meditative soundscapes that oscillate between composition and improvisation—always open to the unforeseen, the random, the living. Original samples and mechanical sounds by Tinguely are integrated, transporting the audience into an imaginary world of movement, mechanics, and poetry. You can experience a fascinating dialogue between the analog past and the digital present, between structure and chaos, between man and machine.
