A night at the museum—that sounds just like a movie! And it is, except that in this case the animals won’t come to life. Still, it’s a unique experience to roll out your sleeping bag next to a mammoth or under the skeleton of a whale and to explore a museum at night, with just your flashlight for illumination. The Naturhistorisches Museum (Natural History Museum) offers this special experience to children ages 6-10 and their adult companions. Note that this event is in German.
Places are limited, so register quickly at nmb@bs.ch. Each adult can bring a maximum of three children.
Cost is CHF 70 for adults and CHF 50 for kids and includes breakfast the next morning; discounts for holders of the Familienpass (CHF 60/40).
