After the resounding success of "A Basel Night at the Proms" in 2022, Basel Proms continues their community-focused, inclusive programming with "Advent with the Basel Proms Chorus," an event of classical music for all! This year, the Basel Proms Chorus is at the center of the evening and will be led by renowned British choral conductor David Lawrence, who will co-host alongside bilingual actress Sasha Mazzotti in both English and Swiss German. Local and international guests, including Basel-American saxophonist Samuel Burckhardt and British organist David Blunden, as well as English soprano Beverley Worboys and Canadian pianist Tiffany Butt, will provide a festive atmosphere with the Proms Chorus in a rousing selection of some of the most popular choral and operatic classical works as well as some beloved Advent songs.
