"Excitingly fresh and cleverly unconventional" and with "amazingly flawless technique," the Amaryllis Quartet inspires with its concerts. It is one of the most interesting string quartets of its generation. In its concert programs and recordings, the quartet attaches great importance to combining classics of quartet literature with something new, thereby opening up new listening worlds. The premiere of works by contemporary composers is just as important as the rediscovery of today's forgotten masterpieces. The four musicians have won numerous international prizes. Concert tours have taken the Amaryllis Quartet to many of the most renowned stages in Germany and around the world. On this evening, they will be performing works by Lukas Langlotz, Robert Schumann, Rudolf Kelterborn, and Andrea Lorenzo Scartazzini.
Tickets are CHF 38-68 for adults, CHF 38-58 for students under age 30, and CHF 5 for youths under age 20.
