The Christmas Bazaar of the Anglican Church, Basel, is an opportunity to refresh your library of English books both for you and your children, add to the toy box, meet with friends over coffee and cake, enjoy a home-cooked lunch, snap up essential ingredients for your Christmas dinner, and more—all in an English-speaking environment. There will be a restaurant and a coffee & cake stall as well as a children's corner. On sale will be English books and groceries, homemade jams and marmalade, quality brocante, and Christmas crafts and gifts.
Anglican Church Bazaar is delighted to receive donations for the bazaar. Please ensure that all items are in good condition. They sell only English-language books (no outdated non-fiction, textbooks or magazines). This year, they will NOT be selling second-hand adult clothing, CDs, or DVDs, therefore, such items will not be accepted for donation. Entrance to the bazaar is free. This year, it takes place at the Zwinglihaus for the first time; get there by Tram 16 and Bus 36 to Zwinglihaus, Tram 15 to Heiliggeistkirche, or Trams 10 & 11 to Münchensteinerstrasse.
