Artists working in conflict regions are confronted with drastic changes in their living conditions and often lose access to networks and opportunities to produce and distribute their work. In order to allow them to continue their work, an open call in September 2022 invited filmmakers who are based in war zones. The film evening will show the submissions from Syria, Myanmar, Libya, and Ukraine; a subsequent panel discussion will ask “How can we support artists?”, also with regard to the current global situation. The Artlink team looks forward to welcoming Rahel Leupin & Heba Hage-Felder (Artlink), Dagmar Reichert (artasfoundation) and other guests.
