“Atrium Concert” is a series of concerts for people with dementia and their families, in cooperation with the Stiftung Basler Wirrgarten. Music remains an important source of enjoyment and well-being for these individuals, which is why the Sinfonieorchester Basel wants to continue to enable those affected to participate in cultural activities.
In this edition, eight cellists from the Sinfonieorchester Basel take the audience on a wintery musical journey between fairy tales and passion. The dazzling lightness of Tchaikovsky's “Nutcracker Suite” blends with Piazzola's melancholic “Winter Tango.”
Admission is free and no registration is required; donations are appreciated.
