The world is in free fall. Bodies rush around a black stage landscape towards their ultimate demise, pushing themselves to the point of exhaustion in ritual dances of death. Dark and disturbing lighting, surreal scenes, pure emotion, and live music from a mini orchestra on stage create an oppressive, apocalyptic sentiment offset with moments of intimate and unexpected joy. Hofesh Shechter's choreographies storm the stage with raw power and are unrivalled for their originality and political relevance. Theater Basel’s ballet company presents this big bang of dance and music.
Tickets are CHF 30-125 for adults, and CHF 20 for those under age 30.
