Advent is the time of traditions. And with it the time when the ballet school of the Theater Basel dances the fairy tale of Klara and her nutcracker like every year in a production suitable for children and families. In Klara’s dream, the nutcracker comes to life and turns into a young man. Together they defend themselves against an army of mice. Marvel at the snowflakes while they are dancing the waltz and follow the sugar plum fairy to foreign lands. Children and young people from the Basel Theater Ballet School dance and play to Tchaikovsky's magical music.
Tickets are CHF 40-80 for adults and half price for individuals under age 30.
