At muma Basel 2026, the Swiss music scene comes to life. Created by Swiss Live Talents, now in collaboration with mondo.NYC, this two-day music and networking marathon showcases outstanding artists from all over Switzerland in a bold new approach to selecting, guiding, and helping artists grow and excel. There are no awards and no jury. For over 15 years, a team of professionals has been committed to discovering, supporting, and promoting talent on the Swiss scene. For each edition, more than 800 bands register to participate, but only the most outstanding projects are selected and promoted by muma, offering targeted, high-quality visibility.
Over the two-day Basel Music Marathon (muma basel), more than 20 selected Swiss acts in the genres rock, pop, electro, and urban, are selcted to perform across four venues in the city—Atlantis, Kuppel, Nest, and Kaserne—showcasing the diversity of the Swiss live music scene. The muma basel is an energetic mix of live concerts, new talent, and authentic connections that bring together festival programmers, agents, labels, media representatives, artists, and music fans under one roof. Open to professionals and the general public alike, it offers direct access to carefully selected live performances and quality exchanges. The program also includes panels, workshops, and opportunities to meet music experts from Switzerland and New York. Day-tickets are CHF 35 online / CHF 40 at the door for Friday and CHF 40/CHF 45 for Saturday; combined tickets for both days are CHF 55 / CHF 60.
