The eighth edition of the vegan fair called tier.natur.und wir expo (animals.nature.and us expo) is an international fair dedicated to alternative, plant-based nutrition and lifestyle, presentation of NGOs, and a platform for themes related to animals, nature, and environmental protection. Throughout the weekend, consumers, companies, and animal protection organizations meet in one location to exchange information about exciting innovations, trends, and a wide range of food and services "without animal suffering.” The range of products on offer at the event includes, among other things, many new vegan meat alternatives & sweet dishes, baked goods & pasta, spice blends, sauces, and non-food items; fashion and clothing designed and manufactured in Europe, jewelry, vegan cosmetics for the whole body, vegan food and non-food novelties you have not yet seen or tried in Switzerland, and much more.
An event for the whole family with exciting sales stands, food trucks, information events for young and old (dogs also welcome!)! There will also be an exhibition of paintings by Garance Monfort from Biel, as well as a special presentation by Greenpeace Switzerland at their “ocean stand” that offers a virtual journey into the unknown heart of the oceans. A virtual dive capsule takes you to the sea floor among fascinating underwater creatures. You not only experience the uniqueness of this ecosystem but also encounter an acute threat—a deep sea excavator.
Admission is CHF 12 per person, CHF 10 for students, and free for kids up to age.
