The seventh International Basel Vegan Messe at the KLYBECK 610 in Basel is the largest event of its kind in Switzerland with an expected 4,500-5,000 visitors and approximately 100 food and non-food exhibitors from Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain, and England. Throughout the weekend, consumers, companies, and animal protection organizations meet in one location to exchange information about exciting innovations, trends, and a wide range of food and services "without animal suffering." The range of products on offer at the events includes, among other things, many new vegan meat alternatives and sweet dishes, baked goods and pasta, organic hemp foods, and CBD cosmetic items. Here you can also find delicious chocolate & pralines made in small, fine studios; tasty organic beer from France; refreshing drinks from Switzerland; spice blends,; and sauces. In the non-food area, you will find fashion and clothing designed and manufactured in Europe, cosmetics, jewelry, dog massages for your pet, a tattoo studio, a hairdresser from Basel with cruelty-free and vegan products, and much more. l.
The event for the whole family offers exciting sales stands, food trucks, and information events for young and old (dogs also welcome!)! Don’t miss the video and film lecture by Andre Wiersieg—"the man of the ocean" and offshore swimmer—on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 15:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is CHF 18 per person, CHF 12 for students; kids up to age 14 are free. Admission price includes a free drink from the bar. The first 200 paying visitors will receive a Basel Vegan Messe® goodie bag that is filled with many exciting surprises from the exhibitors worth at least CHF 30.
