The 5th BaselEduCa Expo—International Education and Career Exhibition provides a forum for state, public, private, and educational institutions as well as individual or groups working or promoting educational, exchange, and career services and products to present their offers. Exhibitors come from countries such as . The exhibition is open for all interested visitors (ages 10+) who are studying at school, students, job seekers, school leavers, parents, teachers, working adults, members of the industry and the general public seeking education programs, language courses, exchange opportunities, trainings, scholarship and career opportunities. Here, visitors can meet well-known and prestigious exhibitors from around the world (eg, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Korea, Latvia, Malta, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States) and exchange information about cooperations, degree programs, exchange opportunities, fellowships, gap programs, internships, job opportunities, language courses, research programs, scholarships, summer camps, and trainings at a national and international level.
The event is organized by the Institute for Peace & Dialogue (IPD), a leading organizer of many successful annual international academic training and research programs in Switzerland in the field of peacebuilding, conflict transformation, mediation, security, intercultural dialogue, leadership, and human rights. Through these events, IPD brings together academics, state, private, and public sector representatives for the sake of empowering global education and building useful networks. IPD is a non-commercial, non-political, non-religious, and non-profit organization.
