The Basler Wymärt is a small, fine, and friendly wine fair. It will feature 45 regional, national, and international wine vendors, each with their finest wines on display for your tasting pleasure (for a list of the vendors, go to their website and click on “Aussteller”). This edition of the Basler Wymärt will take place at the Alte Markthalle (a short walk from the SBB), a trendy location for eating and drinking that can accommodate 1,000 guests daily.
Entrance to the wine fair costs CHF 10, and you will need to leave a CHF 10 deposit for a wine glass, which will be reimbursed to you upon exit. There is no need to register in advance and no obligation to buy, but entrance is restricted to people ages 18 and over. Come by public transport and enjoy!
