The Basler Wymärt is a small, fine, and friendly wine fair. For three days, winegrowers will present their wines from surrounding areas in Switzerland and other wine-growing regions in Europe, including wines that have been produced biologically or biodynamically. This edition of the Basler Wymärt will take place at the Alte Markthalle (a short walk from the SBB), a trendy location for eating and drinking that can accommodate 1,000 guests daily.
There is no need to register in advance and no obligation to buy, but entrance is restricted to people ages 18 and over. Come by public transport and enjoy!
Entry is free with an entry ticket that you get from your winemaker or retailer. Anyone who has registered on the Basler Wymärt website pays CHF 10, everyone else CHF 20. Anyone who orders wine from one of the exhibitors will have the entry price refunded. You will need to leave a CHF 10 deposit for a wine glass, which will be reimbursed to you upon exit.
