Beethoven Piano Sonatas

South Korea-born pianist Julian Jaeyoung Kim will perform three piano sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven: Piano Sonata op. 2, no. 3 in C major, which demonstrates van Beethoven’s early mastery and combines pianistic virtuosity with symphonic sophistication; Piano Sonata op. 53, no. 21 in C major, known as the "Waldstein Sonata;" and Piano Sonata op. 81a, no. 26, known as "Les Adieux." These three sonatas are among Beethoven's most beautiful and demanding works and are milestones in piano literature.
