Béjart Ballet Lausanne

Graceful, breathtaking, unattainable—Béjart Ballet Lausanne, the world-famous ballet company from Switzerland, will be presenting three pieces in this program that take the audience into a world full of dance, passion, and power.
Shakespeare's theatrical masterpiece “Hamlet” is still one of the most performed works in the world. It is presented through movements in an interaction full of drama, intense love, and tenderness and explores the depths of the human soul. Dance is used as a universal language that interprets the tragedy of the play both physically and metaphysically.
Pas de deux, solos, ensembles... with “Béjart et Nous,” the company invites you on a dizzying journey through the danced (and musical) repertoire of Maurice Béjart. An artistic proposal sensitively crafted by Julien Favreau, an immersion into the eclectic and abundant work of the master. Finally, Béjart's “Boléro” is danced to the world-famous piece of the same named by Ravel and captivates with the intensity of the composition—a theme repeats itself tirelessly, gaining volume and force until the peak devour the sound and the melody.
Tickets are CHF 67-137 with 20% reductions for youths and students.
