Blues & Country Night — Nashville Meets Chicago

Country feeling with the revival of Swiss Blues Authority, Marc Amacher, and Florian Fox—the Blues & Country Night at DAS ZELT offers all facets of the blues, rocking riffs, and traditional country music.
The band Swiss Blues Authority, founded in 1994 by Polo Hofer and Chris Gora, is having a revival with brand new songs from their album "Major over Minor." The 10-piece power combo provides an incredible, physical live experience with rousing hooklines and original Marshall amps from the 1970s. It shows all facets of the blues, including the happy ones, with a lot of passion, a pinch of jazz, and crashing guitar riffs.
Marc Amacher convinced not only the audience and judges of “The Voice of Germany;” his smoky voice always stands out. He is hard to categorize—his music is spontaneous, emotional, dynamic, and comes from the heart. Whether real blues, original boogie-woogie, or authentic rock ‘n’roll, with his smoky voice, they go right under your skin.
Florian Fox has been called the “Swiss Johnny Cash” because of his massive bass-baritone voice. This Swiss country singer-songwriter founded his first band, the Black Barons, at only 15 years old.
Tickets for this Blues & Country Night are CHF 45-63.
