FRANCECONCERT is presenting a show whose choreography, staging, libretto, and set design were entirely conceived by the artistic team. This unique creation was a great success during its first tour in 2016. Rediscover it in the 2024-2025 season! Maurice Ravel's “Boléro” is a flagship work in music and dance history and one of the most famous French works in the world. As Ravel prepared for a four-month concert tour of the United States and Canada, Ida Rubinstein, his friend and patron, asked him to create a "ballet with a Spanish character." Ravel, who had a feel for the idea of dance, chose the bolero, a traditional Andalusian dance. This is how the work comes to life.
