The Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is considered the premier youth orchestra in the Boston area. Created in 2012, the tuition-free orchestra consists of musicians ages 12-21. The orchestra provides an environment for musical excellence and leadership development that strengthens communication and deepens the human experience.
On this evening in Basel, the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and cellist Zlatomir Fung will be performing Robert Schumann’s Concerto for Cello and Orchestra in A minor, op. 129, and Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 5.
Tickets are CHF 39.50-70.30 for adults and CHF 20-35.40 for students.
