The Streetbandits are a six-piece brass powerhouse from Basel that has been shaking up the scene since 2021. The young and energetic musicians combine their inspiration from the traditional New Orleans brass band sound with influences from pop and a driving techno component. With a focus on rich interplay and dynamics, rousing party jams, and unique interpretations of chart hits, the band pushes the boundaries of brass band music beyond its traditional genre. With their mash-up of pop, funk, soul and techno, the band brings the mood to a boil, because the gripping Streetbandits sound really gets into your limbs and gets everything pumping.
