This festival of a different kind is a highlight of the cultural calendar in both German and Swiss Rheinfelden. For the 14th year, the cross-border street theater festival “Bridge Sensations” will take place in late August. Over three days (starting Friday night and ending Sunday night), there will be a diverse program with high-quality artistic performances in the field of acrobatics, cabaret, circus, comedy, music, and theater.
The activities will take place on several stages around the old Rhein bridge that connects German and Swiss Rheinfelden, including the house Salmegg, on the Inseli, and on the pier in Swiss Rheinfelden. The skills of the performers inspire thousands of visitors of all ages every year. The event will take place in any weather; however, the program will be adjusted in case of extended periods of rain.
