The Camerata Variabile Basel is a group of young musicians dedicated to the performance of chamber music. On this evening, they will be playing Maurice Ravel’s “Ma mère l’oye,” in a version for piano four hands and percussion; Erich Zeisl’s “In the factory” for piano solo; Igor Stravinsky’s “Three Pieces for Solo Clarinet;” George Antheil’s “Airplane Sonata” for piano and Sonata 1 for violin and piano; Christof Penderecki’s Sextet for clarinet, horn, string trio, and piano; and Steffen Schleiermacher ‘s “Herakles” for horn, clarinet, violin, viola, cello, piano, and percussion.
Tickets are CHF 15-35 for adults and CHF 10 for kids under age 12 and holders of the Colourkey card.
