In “Tête à tête” (Head-to-head), the Camerata Variabile, together with tenor Jakob Pilgram and mezzo-soprano Kate Howden, looks through the keyhole of time and witnesses fantasies, confessions, and confrontations of the amorous, eerie, and confrontational kind. In addition to Verlaine's wonderful love poetry in “La bonne chanson,” they also encounter the grimaces of the “Gargoyles” of Basel Cathedral or find themselves in the middle of a Beckett scene in Barry Guy's world premiere.
Tickets are CHF 40 for adults, CHF 20 for students, and CHF for holders of the Colourkey.
