The Basel a cappella quartet, cantuccini, is a guest at the Tabourettli for the second time. Their only instruments are the melodious voices of the four singers (Nora Roth, Cordula Lötscher, Res Würmli, and Philippe Rayot), complemented by facial expressions, gestures, and choreographies. The cantuccini are fresh, unpretentious, lively, warm-hearted, and precise. Since 2008 they have been delighting their audiences with a diverse repertoire in different styles. Their first album “Blaui Nacht” was released in 2016, and the second album “Gfunde” was released in 2022.
Their new program "Menu Surprise" is about dinner parties, romantic hours, and noble dogs... A hotel that is long past its prime, a baroness with a dog, a jovial receptionist, a cunning manager, and a dedicated butler—these are the ingredients for this musical Menu Surprise, where you can be prepared for one surprise or another. Look forward to a cheerful a cappella theater evening with songs by Simon & Garfunkel, Eagles, Patent Ochsner, Georges Bizet, Buena Vista Social Club, and many more.
