Catherine Tang is a Basel-based jazz pianist active in the Swiss music scene as the bandleader of ASRA and sidewoman with Lost in Lona. Her debut album as a solo artist, "Where Do Your Dreams Fly?", will be released in November 2025 on the U.K. label Whitelabrecs. Using piano and synthesizers, she creates an intimate, minimalist soundscape that blends simple melodies with subtle details. The album reflects Tang’s journey through her musical visions and longings, telling of a world between reality and dream.
Tang will be supported by the trio Lilamors. The trio, led by singer Ana Čop (CH/SLO), produces contemporary electro-acoustic music. In a dialogue between contrasting musical elements and influences, the three award-winning artists explore sonic boundaries and explore themes often pushed aside in modern life. With crystal-clear, poetic vocals, accompanied by snowy piano playing and subtle electronica, they offer a unique, stylistically fluid musical experience in a mystical atmosphere, blurring the boundaries between reality and the surreal. Darkness and light, life and death—in the world of Lilamors, everything is one.
