Chamber Music — Die Schmelzende Welt (The Melting World)
This concert is intended as a small "musical appeal" for urgent action in nature and climate protection and presents a selection of works that are inspired by nature and reflect its wonders in their diversity and harmony. The man behind the project is socially committed star violinist and composer Yury Revich. The premiere performance of his new composition “Klang des Sihlwaldes” celebrates the eponymous forest’s unique beauty and biodiversity. In "Beethoven ReCycled," Revich uses previously unused designs by Beethoven in the spirit of sustainability. “Caprice” by local Jannick Giger demonstrates that the most beautiful "products" often can be found very close by. Also on the program are pieces by Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninov, Sait-Saëns, Debussy, Piazzolla, and Vivaldi. Enjoy the beautiful sound worlds of violin, cello, and piano and let yourself be inspired.
Tickets are CHF 39.50-70.30.
