A hurricane takes Dorothy to the mysterious land of Oz. But only the powerful wizard who rules the land can help her get back home. In her search for him, Dorothy meets new friends: a scarecrow who wishes he had a brain, a tin woodcutter who wishes he had a heart, and a fearful lion who desperately wants to be braver. An adventurous journey begins. When the colorful group of friends arrives at the Wizard of Oz in the Emerald City, he only wants to help under one condition: the Wicked Witch of the West is to be killed. This fairytale production will be performed in dialect by Bühne Liestal.
