The BScene music festival is an explosive and colorful snapshot of the regional music scene. For two days, bands will play rock, pop, electro, hip-hop, techno, jazz, reggae, world music, indie, and folk on six stages in the Kaserne area—a total of 34 concerts and many afterparties! The stylistic range of the festival attracts an eclectic crowd from the three-countries region—in 2019, more than 7,000 visitors attended the festival! It is staged by a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting new or lesser-known bands. Visit the website for a complete list of shows, times, and locations.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for one day (CHF 46; CHF 39 for students) or two days (CHF 59; CHF 52 for students) and allow entrance to all shows on that day, including the respective afterparty, allowing you to customize your own festival. Advance tickets must be exchanged for a bracelet at the check-in stations at Keck Kiosk or kHaus. Note that youth under age 16 must have a permission slip from their guardians, which they can request at the festival office (info@bscene.ch).
