Particularly noteworthy is the performance of the ensemble German Horn Sound, which follows in the tradition of the renowned German horn sound and promises a unique concert experience. The evening concludes with Schumann's first symphony, the "Spring Symphony." With its lively melodies and cheerful mood, it conjures up the spirit of spring. Schumann's skillful use of motifs and themes paints a picture of youthful freshness and new beginnings.
Before the concert at 18:15, there will be a “pre-concert” session with “Summertime,” “Autumn in New York,” “April in Paris,” “Up Jumped Spring,” and other jazz titles on the theme of the seasons. The Jazz Academy Big Band takes on the theme of the Spring Symphony and plays a program that fits this time of year. Admission to the pre-concert is free.
