Contemporary Circus — People Watching. Play Dead
One last whirl of danced acrobatics and acrobatic dance art before the end of the year: Canadian collective People Watching has taken the art of clowning and theatrical absurdity to a level that seems to defy gravity like a circus, bringing the bold intimacy of physical trust and interdependence to the stage in a brilliant choreography. People Watching is made up of six multidisciplinary artists currently based in Montreal. In a universe of domestic things and interlocking stories, the dance collective observes the beautiful, twisted, and ridiculous facets of human behavior in their new creation "Play Dead." Through its dynamic physicality and visual narrative, the piece presents a surrealist chronicle of the familiar. "Play Dead" marvels at the absurdity of the everyday and celebrates life with a pulsating desire for relationships and intimacy, just as people dance desperately to the last song before the party ends...
In other words: buckle up! People Watching will take you on a breathtaking performance full of energy. "Play Dead" is an ingenious creation that is brought to life through breathtaking stage actions, dance acrobatics, and rousing dancing. Immerse yourself in a world full of theatrical magic and let yourself be carried away by this impressive spectacle!
Tickets are € 32-52 for adults and € 25.60-41.60 for students and youths.
