Country Time With Route 65 & Night-Train

Kulturhotel Guggenheim

From the road to the rails—it’s “Country Time” at the Guggenheim where you can enjoy a double concert with the country rock bands, Route 65 & Night-Train.
"Route 65" has been on the "Road to Country Music" since 2013. The band from north-western Switzerland plays a modern style of country music, always allowing themselves to leave the beaten track and explore stylistic boundaries. Three excellent lead voices and the band's unmistakable trademark, the three-part harmony vocals, give the band's sound its varied profile. Virtuoso soloists on lead guitar, lap steel, mandolin, and piano set the instrumental highlights; a solid rhythm section with bass and drums lays the foundation. The versatility of the repertoire and the enthusiasm of the six musicians; the mix of rock songs, classic honky tonk sound and soulful ballads; as well as the arrangements of well-known country songs in Swiss dialect, which are skillfully woven into the repertoire, are always appreciated by the audience.
Night-Train play guitar-heavy and powerful country-rock cover songs by Bonnie Raitt, Lady Antebellum, Vince Gill, Gretchen Wilson, Blackberry Smoke, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, and Jason Aldean with energy and passion. With John Kunz, Night-Train has an experienced American on lead vocals and fiddle. Naly O'Donnell (lead & backing vocals, piano/organ), Stoeffu Vogt (lead guitar), Daniel Bruhin (guitar), Jean-Pierre Berchier (bass), and Beat Mühlemann (drums) complete Night-Train.
Tickets are CHF 37.60 (concert only) or CHF 75.45 (concert and menu).
