For 30 years now, the Compagnie Linga from the Lausanne region has been working on the idea of a group choreography in which a flowing organism can transform into flexible formations that are more than the sum of their individual parts and create a collective consciousness. They want to create a world in which a diverse harmony of very different individuals develops because their individual differences contribute to an enrichment of the whole. After "Flow" (2018), inspired by the captivating spectacle of schools of fish and birds, "Cosmos" is all about celestial mechanics and the perpetual movement of the stars.
The music of the duo L'Ombre de la Bête with Mathias Delplanque (composer, electro-acoustic music, and sound installations) and François Robin (multi-instrumentalist and bagpipe specialist) plays an essential role in "Cosmos."
