Revolutions are turning points in history. They are transformative events that seek to change a nation, a society and, in some cases, the world. Revolutions are triggered by a variety of factors, such as political or social oppression or political incompetence. They differ in their duration, method, and motivating ideology. Choreographer Tabea Martin and her team want to take a closer look at history in their research work and focus on various revolutions of the 20th century and the present day to understand their origin, development, and trigger events.
