François Alu, recently named star dancer of the Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris, offers a breathtaking one-person performance in which he performs 15 solos and as many characters. “Complètement Jetés!” (Completely thrown away!) is a show that looks like only him, multidisciplinary and without limits: virtuoso dance solos of course, but also parodies, choreographic delusions, and chiseled texts... His work emanates total freedom! By creating this show, Alu once again demonstrates his uniqueness and his irrepressible thirst for novelty and self-transcendence. Very personal, this unclassifiable show is in fact an introspection that constitutes a real statement of life, in an explosion of humor, technicality, and emotion. “Completely thrown away!” breaks all the codes of a dance performance. It is the story tinged with humor of a dancer madly in love with his discipline, who decides to move away from the prestigious ballet to discover what does not yet exist... and create it.
