As the saying goes, “spring forward and fall back”! In Europe, daylight savings time this year ends on October 29; when the clocks strike 03:00, they will be turned back to 02:00. Please note that this differs from the dates in North America, where daylight savings time this year ends on November 5, and in Australia/New Zealand, where the clocks are moved forward one hour on October 1 and September 24, respectively. Also, if you have smoke detectors or similar devices in your apartment or house, you may want to use the opportunity to check their batteries to make sure they are still in good working condition.
