This fair is a global forum for design that brings together the best and most influential collectors, critics, curators, designers, and gallerists from around the world in celebration of design culture and commerce. Organized alongside the Art Basel fairs in Miami and Basel, Design Miami/ is the venue where the world’s top galleries present museum-quality exhibitions of 20th- and 21st-century furniture, lighting, and objets d’art. The show balances exclusive commercial opportunities with progressive cultural programming, creating exciting collaborations with designers and design institutions; panels and lectures with luminaries from the worlds of architecture, art, design, and fashion; and unique commissions from the world’s top emerging and established designers and architects.
Design Miami/ takes place at Halle 1 Süd of the Messe Basel; opening hours are 11:00–20:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 11:00–19:00 on Thursday to Saturday, and 11:00-18:00 on Sunday.
General admission day tickets cost CHF 35, CHF 30 for students and seniors. You can also purchase a combination day ticket with Art Basel for CHF 97 / CHF 81 reduced.
