Want to be catapulted back in time, into a world where you can marvel at a 25-meter movie screen from the comfort of your car? Come to this year’s edition of the drive-in cinema in Pratteln, close to the A2 motorway, and enjoy classic films, cult films, and blockbusters as well as culinary delicacies from the 50s. Pretty girls on roller skates will serve you cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and milkshakes, and boys will serve you popcorn at your car window. If necessary, your car will be jacked up in front for the authentic feeling and an even better view of the projection screen!
One or two films are shown each night, with starting times around 22:00 and around midnight. All films will be shown with two-channel sound—the original language and German. Cost is CHF 35 for a car with one person, CHF 50 for two persons, CHF 65 for three person, CHF 80 for four persons, and CHF 95 for five persons. VIP tickets are also available for CHF 111.00, which include two glasses of Prosecco, two burger combos (burger, fries, and drinks), and unlimited popcorn. Don’t have a car? No problem! This drive-in cinema will provide cyclists and pedestrians with a double-decker London bus that has been totally redesigned inside with panoramic windows and comfortable seating for optimal viewing and is equipped with a bar. Tickets for the bus are available for CHF 15 for evening shows.
