The Enchanté Singfestival Riehen comes to an end with a big concert presented jointly by all workshop groups, mediation projects, and the festival choir. This concert also gives the audience an insight into the diverse singing techniques and working methods. The program includes results of the workshops by and with Ursina Giger, Zvezdana Novaković, Lisette Spinnler, and Tobias Stückelberger, who will perform Brahms' "Liebeslieder" Waltzes for Choir and Four-Hand Piano with the festival choir. In addition, the children and young people from the Gute Herberge school and residential home will present a radio play project they have been working on for six months with the Basel singer and composer Balz Aliesch. The concert will be opened by the voices from four nursing homes in Riehen with a program that they have rehearsed over the course of the year with singer and music educator Barbara Schneebeli as part of the focus topic “Singing in old age.”
