As part of the Enchanté Singfestival Riehen, the fiery-fresh flamenco group Las Migas will be playing in the Grosser Festsaal of the Landgasthof Riehen on this evening. Captivating voices, two guitars, a violin, cajón, and four impressive musicians: Las Migas prove that in flamenco, not only the dance but also the music can be feminine. The quartet combines traditional flamenco with Latin American elements, jazz, pop, and folk. While Marta, Laura, and Alicia come from flamenco and classical guitar, Carolina brings fado, jazz, and habaneras—and with great success: in 2022 they received a Grammy for the "best flamenco album" and they captivate concert audiences all over the world with their songs that smell of sea, earth, air, and fire and are about free love, hope, and strong women.
