Alta Bellezza presents a tapestry of sound from the 15th century, in which love songs by Binchois intertwine with anonymous dances and sacred motets by Dufay. A rich sound world of shawms, slide trumpets, and bagpipes will lead from the end of the medieval era into a new renaissance. The TEXTUR festival invites you to immerse yourself in the world of perfect fifths in the morning. The concert takes place in the courtyard of the Musikmuseum Basel; on the 1st floor of the museum in the event of bad weather.
Entrance is free; donations are accepted (suggested donation CHF 15).
