The European Outdoor Film Tour (EOFT) presents a selection of the best and most extraordinary outdoor and adventure films. This year’s program consists of six short films and documentaries (most in English) with subtitles in German.
EOFT 2025 brings together a variety of extremes in a two-hour film program packed with great adventures, strong personalities, and thrills. The audience can look forward to a 50-day trip through Alaska (“Wild Days”), where it's not just the snow-covered mountains that glisten, or a bike tour of the highest peaks in each of the Swiss cantons (“Gipfeli of Switzerland”), where each ascent is rewarded with a typical Swiss pastry. Also on the program is a film about figure skating in Canada (“Elladj”), where a figure skater discovers a new world in the heart of nature. Hold your breath for speed-riding in Switzerland and go full-throttle downhill on skis and paraglider (“Drop the Line”). You will also meet a climber who fought her way back to the rock after a fall (“Freja’s Back”) and an inventor who has revolutionized the modern pack-raft design with her ideas (“Sheri”).
