The exhibition “(Re)Connect” presents video works of artists exploring the connection between disappearing folklore, ancient healing rituals, and colonial-capitalist structures that have suppressed indigenous belief systems. Through universal themes, the artists address the cycle of life, presence and absence, and the entangled identity history across spiritual and ancestral realms. It features works by Ursula Biemann, Juliana Curi, Patricia Domínguez, Dorota Gawęda & Eglė Kulbokaitė, Laura Huertas Millán, Katarzyna Machałek & Łukasz Machowski, Shirin Neshat, Rachel Rose, Tai Shani, Hylozoic/Desires (Himali Singh Soin & David Soin Tappeser).
The vernissage for this exhibit will take place on January 11 from 18:00-21:00.
