This family concert takes the audience to a musical garden festival. Before the festivities can begin, there are still a few things to do: pulling up weeds, cutting the hedge, mowing the lawn, watering the flowers, and decorating the garden shed. After that, playing, singing, dancing, and a garden parade take place, illustrated through flowery and sunny music, played on the flute, the clarinet, the trombone, and the piano.
Sinfonieorchester Basel’s mini.musik series is designed for families with kids ages 4 and up to stimulate their interest in music.
Tickets cost CHF 20 for adults, CHF 10 for children, and CHF 12.50 per person for families with two adults and two children. To benefit from additional Familienpass discounts, tickets must be purchased directly from the orchestra office (061-272-2525; ticket@sinfonieorchesterbasel.ch) or through Bider & Tanner.
