There’s bubbling, hissing, and steaming when music is experimented with—floating sounds and buzzing instruments, whirring strings and singing glasses, tinkling boxes that sound out of nowhere. The mini.musik-experimental laboratory is an exciting sound cabinet for music of the past and the future. The musical experiments are played by lab assistants on oboe, violin, viola, cello, and piano.
Sinfonieorchester Basel’s mini.musik series is designed for families with kids ages 4 and up to stimulate their interest in music. The concerts last a maximum of one hour.
Tickets are CHF 20 for adults, CHF 10 for kids, and CHF 12.50 per family member in families with 2 adults and 2 children.
