Family Concert — Klavierübung (Piano Practice)

Gare du Nord
Sunday, 22 March
11:00-12:00 & 14:30-15:30

Thirteen young musicians fearlessly embark on a quest into the thicket of big questions and emotions: Why do I make music? What does it mean to me? What does it do to me—or I to it? To which worlds can it transport me? On their expedition, they encounter joyful fanfares, clouds of anger, comforting sounds, irritating fingerings, heartbreaking songs, crumpled notes, crazy rhythms, wild dances, dreamy meditations, absurd excuses, and a declaration of love. Each of these sound explorers carries their own unique sonic calling card, specially crafted for them by composer Isabel Klaus, which only they can bring to life. It’s a witty and quirky approach to an almost philosophical topic.
This children’s concert is recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
Tickets are CHF 2 for adults, CHF 12 for kids, or CHF 8 for holders of the Familienpass.
