Federal Yodeling Festival 2023

Zug Lakeshore
13:00-23:59 | 9:00-23:59 | 8:30-23:59

"Traditional, surprising, diverse"—this is the motto of the 31st Eidgenössiches Jodlerfest (Federal Yodeling Festival) in Zug, which stands for both the festival as well as the location. Here tradition meets modernity, old town meets urbanity, cherry farmers meet top managers. Yodelers, flag-wavers, and alphorn-players from around 500 associations with a total of 10,000 active participants, as well as national and international guests are expected at the Yodel Festival. Everyone is invited to attend the festivities with flag reception, competition presentations, and pageant, and to enjoy the festival restaurants in the "Yodel Village" on the idyllic shores of Lake Zug.
Due to the large central Swiss catchment area with a large number of clubs, they are expecting between 100,000 and 150,000 visitors. It is therefore best to arrive by public transport; the festival grounds are about a 10-minute walk from the Zug train station.
Tickets for competition/presentation venues are CHF 20 (Friday), CHF 30 (Saturday), CHF 35 (Friday and Saturday), and CHF 40 (Friday-Sunday). Access to the “Yodel Village” and food stalls is free.
The official ceremony with special presentations will take place on Sunday, June 18, in the Bossard Arena. Tickets for this event are CHF 10 for standing room and CHF 20 for seats and can only be purchased in advance through https://www.ticketino.com/de/Event/31-Eidgenoessisches-Jodlerfest-2023-Zug/178260.
