The Second Art Classics Basel festival will take place from May 14 to 19, with four concerts in the Don Bosco music and cultural center. This year’s festival is entitled “Light and Darkness.”
For this Sunday matinée, the Basler Streichquartett will be presenting Béla Bartók’s “Contrasts” and Arnold Schönberg’s “Pierrot Lunaire.”
Tickets are CHF 35-45 for adults, CHF 17.50-22.50 for holders of Colourkey, and free for youths under age 16. You can also purchase a Festival-Pass for all four concerts for CHF 100-120 from Bider & Tanner in Basel.
