This summer, an urban oasis reminiscent of a tropical beach has been created in the Rundhof (round courtyard) of the Messe Basel—the building with the large clock over the entrance. But the Bambusnest more than just sand, palm trees, drinks, and snacks—on July 31, there will be a summer music festival with superstar John Newman as the headliner. His mix of live performances and electronic DJ sets of his own songs, which have been streamed millions of times in recent years, promises to be an unforgettable party. John Newman will be joined on stage by internationally acclaimed German DJ Noel Holler, who will be creating beach party vibes in the Bambusnest. Regional support will be provided by Basel-based acts Les Acteurs, Twenny5, and Yannis Moser. Together, they will ensure that you dance the night away—in the sand, of course, and hopefully with an unobstructed view of the clear starry Basel sky.
